The required number of components and their characteristics has been determined and justified in order to realize the mentioned principles in the robotic system. The software to control the operation of the experimental sample of the robotic system has been developed. This article presents the first data on the development of the new external cardiac compressor working in the adaptive mode and describes electronics used in this compressor.

Comparison of the Effects of Three Different Counting Methods on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Quality and Rescuer Fatigue

Background: Chest compression with adequate depth and number is one of the main indicators of high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Nevertheless, no proper counting technique is suggested to provide sufficient number of massages. Aim: To compare the effects of three techniques of chest compression counting on the quality of CPR and rescuer fatigue. Method: Inthis clinical trial, 30 ...

Interposed abdominal compression-CPR: a case study in cardiac arrest research.

When the abdomen is compressed manually in counterpoint to the rhythm of chest compression, in the performance of interposed abdominal compression-CPR, artificial circulation is approximately doubled in animal experiments and in electronic models of the circulatory system. These studies suggest that external manual compression of the abdominal aorta acts like an intra-aortic balloon pump to inc...
